I know the CAROLINA IS BACKWARDS!I'm Tarheel born raised and true. (HA not born there or raised) GO TARHEELS. They are awesome. And they are going to WIN THE FINAL FOUR. This is their year. Hopefully they don't ChOkE like they did last year. Tyler Hansboro is spot on as well as the BIG BOY under the basket (AH can't member his name) Wayne Ellington, Dion Thompson, Ty Lawson. Just to name of few of their fantastic players. I could go on but it would take a while. So WATCH OUT DUKE THE TARHEELS ARE ON THE PROWL!!!!!!!
CANCER TOTALLY SUCKS! Katie you and your family are in my prayers! Stay strong and know that it will all be okay. It will hurt for a while! I got these two sayings from a wonderful lady and her girls that I met in the Bone Marrow Unit. Their father and her husband had multiple myloma. And he passes away March 15, 2008. These are poems that they sent to me. I thought they might help. Life is but a stopping place, a pause in what's to be, A resting place along the road to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, different path along the way, We are all meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay.... Our destination is a place far greater than we know, For some, the journey's quicker, for some, the journey's slow. And when the journey finally ends, we'll claim a great reward and find and everlasting peace, together with the Lord. Then this is the second one: God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way. Well everyone, they lost! I can't believe it. I thought the would have a chance. And they did. They hung right in there with them, but in the end.........the steelers won. At least Arizona finally made it to the superbowl. But all of you Arizona fans there is always next year. We will just have to wait. But......my brother would make fun of me so bad. Because I am a true through and through Atlanta Falcons fan. I know I know even though Michael Vick is a dog fighter you have to give him credit he is half man half amazing. But I had to pick a team for our superbowl party and I like Arizona alot better than the Steelers and because Atlanta wasn't in thats why I picked the Cardinals. WHEW....that made no sense it was just a bunch of jibber jabber. But anyways Happy Superbowl everyone. And sorry my last post was a horrible picture sorry!!!!
I need help. I want my blog to be as cute as everyone elses, but cutest blog on the block is not compatible with mac's. So...... if any of you have any ideas of what program like cutest blog on the block (or if cutest blog on the block works and I am just dumb) please let me know. Geez, its been a long while since I have blogged. I have been so busy wit school. And then all of this week an last week I have been tending for a couple in Deer Valley while they take care of a band called Due West. I would go over at like six at night or earlier and not get done until twelve thirty. Good thing the kids were so good. I love them. Anyways, about the band Due West, they are SO AWESOME. I love their music. They are not selling their albums in stores yet, because they are just kind of taking off in their career. They sing contry, but their songs are fun and up beat. They have such a unique sound. They are all from Nashville and one of the guitarists/backup singers is named Matt Lopez. He wrote the song for Lady Antebellum "Loves looking good on you." He also wrote some of their songs on the album. Then the lead singer is named Tim Gates. He reminds me of Keith Urba, but most people think he looks like Billy Ray Cyrus, but I thin he looks more like Keith. Mark looks like a country Josh Grobin. Then there is the other guitarist/back up singer and his name is Brad. Then they have Doug, Clay(who has played guitar for Diamond Rio and many other), and then the funny one Tommy who plays drums. IT IS duewest.com Anyways also I have been to the DR. Today I had a two hour glucose test. And for all of you that have to get it when you are prego and drink that nasty dextrose drink, I don't know why you would keep having kids, cause you have to get that test everytime right? It took EVERYTHING and I mean everything I had not to just throw it all up. YUCKY. But I won't know the results for a little bit. Also I got my pint of blood out also and Dr. Kushner said that I would be doing this for two years YIKES. Because my feritain level is still high it is like 1500 and normal is like 300. But it has dropped cause it was 7000 and the first. Anyways, I hope all is well. I love you all so much. OH YEAR WELCOME HOME ELDER JAKE VANDYKE!!!!! Check out Due West's website! See ya'll. Love ya
I am starting college this week. And I am so scared I cannot even explain it. And it causes so much stress just signing up for the classes. I can't imagine what going to the classes, labs, and homework will be like. Plus for those of you who don't know, I guess the hospital had some good effects on me, because I wan to go into nursing. And um looking at the credit hours (120 total) I was a little intimidated. Then the nursing administrator showed me the average GPA that previous students that have applied to the nursing program had and it was 3.87. UMMMMMMM HA HA. After I got done just giggling to myself I was so sick to my stomach. Brenna, Jami, Katie how in the name did you do it???? So everybody keep me in your thoughts and pray for me cause I am so nervous I don't know what I'm gonna do. Anyways hope you all have a good week! Love ya!!!!
